It’s one per customer while stock lasts, and gift sets and clearance items don’t count. If you return the fragrance, you have to return the bag too. No end date is given.
- Macy’s (US): the “free weekender bag with large spray purchase” offer is added automatically at checkout, one per customer. The page’s data showed the bag as out of stock, and we couldn’t confirm current dates. Macy’s has run versions of this offer before, so check back.
- Boscov’s (US): its gift-bag page now returns an error, so treat that offer as over.
- UK: Boots and The Perfume Shop have run 50ml+ offers before. The Perfume Shop deal has expired.
Our honest take: if you were buying a big bottle of BOSS anyway, the bag is a nice extra. It’s a promotional item, though. Don’t pay full fragrance price just for the bag.
2. The Hugo Boss weekenders you can actually buy
These are proper retail bags, built and priced like it. Hugo Boss lists them in its official men’s weekend bags and holdalls section:

Buying the free bag secondhand
The gift bags sell on eBay and Poshmark for anywhere from about $25 to $275. Typical examples include a Bottled Beyond bag at around $64 and a grey wool-blend “BOSS Parfums” bag at $65. Above roughly $70, you’re paying retail-bag money for a promo bag. A genuine gift bag usually says “BOSS Parfums” or names the fragrance. It won’t be one of the hugoboss.com models. The one people mean is the Le Pliage travel bag. The Le Pliage Original Expandable Travel bag is $330 at Bloomingdale’s. In the UK, John Lewis lists the Le Pliage One Expandable at £230 and the Le Pliage One XL at £160.
- Good: it’s light nylon, folds flat, and the expandable version zips out for the trip home with extra shopping.
- Less good: it’s soft and unstructured, so it slumps when half full. It’s a lot of money for nylon.
- Who it suits: someone who wants a recognisable name and a bag that packs away inside a suitcase.
Hunter weekender bag (the Costco one)
The Hunter Stowaway Weekender is $59.99 on Costco online (item 2055283). One reviewer paid $49.99 in store. Parade covered it on 5 October 2026, and it has been popular since.
- Size: about 18.3 × 7.7 × 13.8 inches (roughly 46 × 20 × 35cm), just over 2lb.
- Material: polyurethane, water-resistant.
- Features: shoe compartment, laptop sleeve, a sleeve that slides over a suitcase handle, and a removable crossbody strap.
- Who it suits: anyone who wants lots of features for very little money and doesn’t mind replacing the bag in a few seasons. Polyurethane coatings can crack and peel over time, especially at fold lines.
NOBL luggage: the NOBL Weekender
NOBL is a direct-to-consumer brand. Its Weekender was $159 in its 2026 Black Friday sale when we checked on 2 November 2026 (Burgundy is $199), with buy one, get one 50% off. NOBL says the “regular” price is $481 and that orders placed by 2 November 2026 come with free gifts: a dust cover, a $50 e-gift card, a lifetime warranty and a NOBL Air tracker. The page shows 4.9 stars from about 18,300 reviews.
A plain note: the $481 “regular price” and the “gifts worth $324” are NOBL’s own marketing figures, and we haven’t verified them. Judge the bag at $159, not against the crossed-out number. Check the material and dimensions on the listing before you order.

A quick word on carry-on fit
