Our story

Our story

One bag, made for one person. Now, one for yours.

Toteaa began in Udaipur with a single bag that Anmol made for his wife, Rupali. She still carries it. Rupali owns Toteaa, and Anmol runs it.

Everything is hand crafted in a workshop near Gangaur Ghat in Udaipur, where generational artisans bind the journals and work with leather at their own pace, to make the perfect piece.

Then comes the part that makes it yours: the name, initials or date you choose, engraved or embossed before it ships from Udaipur, the city of lakes. We're small on purpose.

How it works

From our workbench to your doorstep.

Four steps, and only one of them is yours.

  1. Choose

Pick a leather journal or bag for yourself, or for someone you love.

  2. Personalise

Add a name, initials or a date, up to 30 characters. Choose engraved or embossed.

  3. Handmade & finished

Your piece is made by hand, then your name goes on exactly as you typed it. Personalisation adds 1 working day.

  4. Shipped worldwide

Sent from Udaipur to the US, UK, UAE, Europe and beyond, within 7 to 15 working days.

Orders ship from India, so your courier may collect import duties or taxes on arrival, depending on your country.
